A man named Aimen Halim has taken issue with the boneless ‘wings’ that Buffalo Wild Wings serves on it’s menu. He’s claiming that the wings are more-so chicken nuggets and not the boneless wing meat that the franchise claims them to be. (Courtesy of: 10 Play).
He filed a class-action lawsuit in Illinois on, March 10th, citing that the franchise uses “false and deceptive marketing advertising.” The suit hopes to speak for (or represent) thousands of customers that have been victim to the ‘scam’.

The visit that spurred everything occurred when Aimen went to Buffalo Wild Wings this past January, and purchased the boneless wings. The lawsuit doesn’t mention how he became wise to the deception or what clued him in initially to being discouraged with his order of wings.
The argument is – if the wings were advertised as being something other than actual chicken wings – customers would pay less for the product or not even purchase at all.
The lawsuit contends that the wings are merely, “slices of chicken breast meat deep-fried like wings”. And that they’re, “more akin, in composition, to a chicken nugget rather than a chicken wing.”
The accused franchise took to Twitter alluding to the preposterous claim being contended against them by posting a tongue-in-check tweet:
And the comments are agreeing with Buffalo Wild Wings, stating that the lawsuit is just a way for the plaintiff to try for a windfall.
The suit also alleges that, “Buffalo Wild Wings is well aware of this issue, but has refused to change its practices.”
It doesn’t look like Aimen is going to find the “thousands” he had hoped to get in on the lawsuit and represent.
