Will Butterworth first started reporting on entertainment news when he was a kid in Barney pajamas giving news reports to his parents while sitting in a cardboard box. Now, he still sits in a cardboard box, but his audience has grown in number (at least that's what his mom tells him). Entertainment junkies unite!

When a movie relies on the chemistry of its two main leads, it doesn’t always bode well when both stars don’t like the movie. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have frequently made jokes about how ludicrous the film, and its sequels, are.

2. Grease 2 (1982)

When Michelle Pfeiffer first joined the cast of Grease 2, she thought it was going to be as successful as the first film. However, after watching the movie, she soon realized how terrible it was. It’s a movie she still openly hates to this day and has no problem trashing it.

3. Batman & Robin (1997)

If there’s one movie George Clooney always apologizes for, it’s Batman & Robin. Love it or hate it yourself, Clooney is not a fan of his performance, the script, or the infamous nipple suit.

4. Twilight (2008)

There’s likely no one on Earth who hates Twilight as much as its star, Robert Pattinson. Part of that stems from how the media treated him during its making. Even fans of the books complained about his acting when he was literally playing the character as he was written in the books. Thankfully, Pattinson overcame this period in his life and went on to make movies worth his talents.

5. Catwoman (2004)

There’s no question that Catwoman was a disaster. Even Halle Berry recognized just how poorly the film ended up becoming. She gracefully accepted her Razzie award for the film but did so with her Oscar in hand. Just in case anyone forgot that she was actually an incredible actress.

6. Garfield (2004)

You’d think that a slob of a cat would be perfect for Bill Murray to voice. However, Garfield didn’t quite live up to anyone’s standards. Murray disliked the movie so much that he ended up joking about it in another movie, Zombieland (2009).

7. Armageddon (1998)

A movie about blue-collar workers saving the world might sound like it’s up Ben Affleck’s alley, but he actually found the entire plot silly. You can hear him on commentary joking about how NASA, an organization with insanely intelligent people, couldn’t figure out how to make a good drill. Suffice it to say, he wasn’t the biggest fan of the movie’s story.

8. The Green Lantern (2011)

It’s no secret that Ryan Reynolds despises The Green Lantern. In fact, he hates it so much that in another famous film of his, he ends up going back in time and shooting himself to stop him from making the film.

9. Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Fans aren’t the only ones wishing that the sequel series could have been better. Stars Oscar Isaac and John Boyega thought many of the plots were a bit silly. Isaac particularly hates that he had to deliver the line about how Palpatine “just came back.”

10. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)

On paper, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen looked like it could be a great success. Between the directing and writing, however, the movie quickly fell apart. Its main star, Sean Connery, ended up hating the movie so much that he more or less retired after it. He even suggested looking in local insane asylums to find the film’s director, Stephen Norrington.
