5. 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray
This Corvette model is as rare as it is iconic because the split window coupe options were only offered for a single year. They were also the first Corvettes to have covered headlights and independent rear suspension. With a fuel injected 327 V8 engine it was a true sports car of world-class caliber.
6. 1969 Dodge Charger
The Lincoln’s Slab-sided design chassis and suicide doors made it stand out as the and most recognizable car of the 60s. While other luxury vehicles of the time were filled with excess chrome ornamentation, the Lincoln cut the excess and opted for refined design. The 462ci V8 engine provided power that was smooth and quiet as was the interior, which was filled with all available luxury amenities of the 1960s.
7. 1966 Lincoln Continental
The ’69 Charger is famous for being the car from The Dukes of Hazzard. The design gives it a predatory profile with fastback body styling and hidden headlights. The 426 Hemi engine option made it one of the fastest of its time. From its wrap around chrome bumpers to the full-width tail lights it established some of the most recognizable standard design items.
8. 1970 Plymouth Barracuda

Carroll Shelby’s creation was the perfect blend of European and American performance. The 428 Police Interceptor engine provided enormous amounts of power and the upgraded suspension and brakes turned it into a real driver’s car. The distinctive fiberglass hood combined with Le Mans racing stripes provided a very noticeable finish.

The original letter series car combined true luxury and very high performance. With a 331 Hemi V8 engine producing 300 horsepower, it was the most powerful car in America at that time. 12. 1962 Ford Thunderbird
The “Bullet Bird” design had a pointed front end and rocket tail lights. It was a personal luxury car that offered a new experience. The grand steering design featuring a “Swing Away” style steering wheel and an optional sliding sunroof were great additions. The 390 V8 engine provided smooth effortless performance.
