A true British classic, Guy Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels follows four friends who find themselves seriously in debt to London hard-man Hatchet Harry after a poker game. Given a week to pay back £500k, Eddy and his friends attempt to intercept a drug raid to get the cash.

A daydream we’ve probably all had at one point, Into the Wild follows Christopher McCandless, one of Emory University’s top students who abandons his life, donating all his possessions to charity, and hitchhikes to the Alaskan wilderness. Throughout his travels, Christopher encounters several unique characters who shape the future of his life.

The first entry in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman Begins is the origin story of Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne. As well as the death of his parents, Batman Begins explores Bruce’s time with the League of Shadows, the mysterious group of assassins who train Bruce in combat before he abandons them to save Gotham City.

Quinten Tarantino’s hilarious and tense WWII nazi hunting story contains one of the scariest villains put to screen in Christoph Waltz’s Hans Landa. Inglorious Basterds follows a small group of Jewish soldiers on a secret mission to topple the Nazi government and end WWII.
